50. Co-operate well, understand that this lockdown extension is very much essential and do not create any kind of hurdles mentioned below!
MUST-DO's OF THE LOCKDOWN:
1. DO NOT HIT THE POLICE BACK:
I saw many videos of people hitting policeman surfacing on the internet. It feels too terrible to see a person being hit by public for protecting the public. People, please consider their selfless service before you get mad at them during this lockdown extension.
2. HELP THE HEROES:
I urge you all to help volunteers, police-force, medical practitioners, doctors, nurses and all other civil-aid authorities by co-operating with them and providing them with water, tea, protein-binge bars and food. That's the least we can do to make their lockdown extension easy!
3. CO-OPERATE BEING AT HOME:
Thinking that wearing a mask and stepping out of our homes would suffice?
Well, Think again!
Because, we can practically see that, doctors are all covered up but they're still getting infected because of viral transmission. So, a mask isn't all that can save us! Being at home is hence the best option for this lockdown extension!
4. TRY VOLUNTEERING, DONATING AND RENDERING YOUR SERVICES TO PEOPLE:
If you can go for volunteering, then you must! If not volunteering then help with supplies and essentials to the needy or maybe donate to different official and registered websites(make sure it's a trusted source). Distributing ration required for a month is rather a much better option.
5. DO NOT TAKE HUNDRED PICTURES WHILE DOING CHARITY AND POST THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Taking a picture, one or two, to influence people to do charity is a good thought but bombarding someone's phone/WhatsApp groups with 40-50 pictures in a single go, isn't a good deed. It might come off as an act of show-off which isn't the purpose!
6. EDUCATE THE UNKNOWN ABOUT THEIR RIGHTS/BENEFITS
Helpers who help you at your place with routine-work/household-work might not be very well versed with facilities given to them by government or other people. So when you get to know about this, you can just contact them and educate them by letting them know about the same! This will be of great great great help to them.
I hope, this blog will help you to fill the blanks of your extra time with some productive and healthy activities and I hope that after reading this blog, you'll be all set to cope up with this extension of lockdown and will be in positive and happy spirits! Thank you so much for making it till the end of this blog!!
